Dispatch Cards
Dispatch Cards are recommended for departments who frequently rent vehicles from Fleet Services or those departments that do not want to write memos for each rental (the Dispatch Card is used in lieu of a memo). Dispatch Cards are available for departments for free. To receive a card, send a request on department letterhead through campus mail to Fleet Services or you may fax it to 754-9400. The request will need to include; department name, DaFis account number and/or 4 digit ID, an authorized signature and the address where to mail the card(s).
Intercampus Bus Tickets
Departments may purchase not-for-resale tickets and passes from Fleet Services on a recharge basis. To purchase tickets, complete a Request To Obtain Intercampus Bus Tickets form (DOC) (PDF)and mail the form through campus mail to Fleet Services or fax to 754-6837.
Fuel Proxy Keys
Each University vehicle is issued a fuel system Proxy Key. This small gray plastic key fits on a key chain and is used to activate the computerized fueling system on the fuel islands. If a customer loses a Proxy Key while renting a pool or assigned vehicle, the department will be charged a replacement fee. To replace a lost Proxy Key come to the Fleet Services Dispatch office during business hours (M-F 7a.m-5p.m.). If the Proxy Key is defective, return the defective key to Fleet Services Dispatch office for a free replacement.
Department owned vehicles will need to come to Fleet Services to purchase a Proxy Key if they wish to use the Automated Fuel System. Department owned vehicles will be charged for every Proxy Key issued. If the key becomes defective, Fleet Services will replace it at no cost to the department. If the key is lost, the department will be charged a replacement fee.
Car Wash
Departments with an assigned vehicle may use the Car Wash service at no cost. Department owned vehicles may use this service on a recharge basis.
Bike Lockers
Bike lockers are available for customers to use when leasing a vehicle from the motor pool. This is a free service and is on a first-come-first-served-basis.
