Title:                             Annual Fleet Customer Meetings/Annual Lease Contracts

Description:                  Develop Lease Contracts for assigned vehicles.  Hold annual meetings with customers.

Identified Issues:           Fleet Services would benefit from having meetings with customers to better understand their needs so we can respond to changing business requirements.  Departments with specialized vehicles need to also understand their responsibilities and the services available from Fleet Services.

Fleet Proposal:             Develop a vehicle contract that will address the issues brought up by the AUR teams regarding specialized vehicles. 

 

                                    Copies of the contracts were sent for review to Ken Woodard, David Phillips, Dan Sehnert, Joe Stagner, Floyd Cagle, Cindy Bonin, Cindy Pilon and Sal Genito. 

 

                                    Fleet management will meet annually with departments who lease specialized vehicles from Fleet Services.  We will discuss any changes in the rates and any issues that may have developed over the last year. 

Justification:                  Fleet Services must keep in regular contact with its customer base.  Annual meetings will fulfill this need and will keep customers informed on changes in policy, legislation and vehicle maintenance issues.

Impact:                         Annual customer meetings will be time consuming for Fleet management.  However, this is an important mechanism to communicate with departments, and help eliminate misunderstandings and misinformation. This will also help us identify services that need modification within Fleet Services.
